Biography

Born on September 26, 1966, in Coffee County, Alabama, Barry Moore is a Republican politician representing Alabama's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 3, 2025. Raised on a family farm, Moore's early life instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep connection to agricultural communities. He is a veteran, having served in the Alabama National Guard and Reserves for six years. In 1998, Moore founded Barry Moore Industries, a waste hauling company, which he continues to operate with his wife, Heather. The couple has four children and are active members of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Enterprise, Alabama.
