Biography
Riley McGowan Moore, born on July 1, 1980, in Morgantown, West Virginia, is a Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for West Virginia's 2nd Congressional District since January 3, 2025. He is the grandson of former Governor and Congressman Arch Moore Jr. and the nephew of U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito. Moore began his career as a welder before transitioning into politics and public service.
