Biography
Thomas Richard Suozzi is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 3rd congressional district. A member of the Democratic Party, Suozzi has a long history of public service, including roles as Mayor of Glen Cove and Nassau County Executive . He was first elected to Congress in 2016, serving three terms before an unsuccessful gubernatorial bid in 2022. In 2024, Suozzi reclaimed his congressional seat in a special election following the expulsion of George Santos.
