Brian Hardin

Brian Hardin is the incumbent state senator for Nebraska’s 48th District, representing Scotts Bluff, Banner, and Kimball counties since January 2023. A fourth-generation farmer and rancher, Hardin holds a B.A. from Chadron State College and an M.Div. from Denver Seminary, and has worked as a pastor, insurance broker, and business consultant. He chairs the Health and Human Services Committee and serves on the Banking, Commerce & Insurance, Retirement Systems, and Legislative Oversight committees, advocating for limited government and pro-agriculture policies.
