Canidate for County Treasurer in Nebraska
Tony Vargas is a former Nebraska state senator and public school board member who served eight years in the Legislature. He has also run twice for U.S. Congress and narrowly lost in the 2024 election. Vargas has declared his candidacy with the support of Omaha Mayor John Ewing.
