Biography

Andrew Clyde, born on November 22, 1963, in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada, is a Republican politician representing Georgia's 9th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was first elected to Congress in November 2020 and assumed office on January 3, 2021. Prior to his political career, Clyde served as a U.S. Navy officer for 28 years, including three combat deployments to Kuwait and Iraq. After his military service, he founded Clyde Armory in 1991, a firearms business that has grown into a nationwide company with two brick-and-mortar locations in Georgia.
