Biography

Thomas Jonathan "Jon" Ossoff, born on February 16, 1987, in Atlanta, Georgia, is a Democratic politician serving as the senior United States Senator from Georgia since January 20, 2021. At 33, he became the youngest Democrat elected to the Senate since Joe Biden in 1972. Prior to his Senate tenure, Ossoff was the managing director and CEO of Insight TWI, a London-based investigative television production company. His work focused on exposing corruption and human rights violations, including producing documentaries on ISIS war crimes and human trafficking.
