Biography
Kelly Louise Morrison, born on February 2, 1969, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist and a Democratic politician representing Minnesota's 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She was sworn into the 119th Congress on January 3, 2025. Prior to her congressional tenure, Morrison served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2019 to 2023 and the Minnesota State Senate from 2023 to 2024. Throughout her legislative career, she has been recognized for her bipartisan approach, passing over 90 bills during her time in the state legislature. Morrison resides in Deephaven, Minnesota, with her husband, John Willoughby, a former Army Ranger, and their three children.
