Biography
Michelle Fischbach, born on November 3, 1965, in Woodbury, Minnesota, is a Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 7th Congressional District since 2021. The district encompasses the western half of Minnesota, stretching from the Canadian border nearly to Iowa. Prior to her tenure in Congress, Fischbach held several significant positions in Minnesota's state government, including serving as the 49th Lieutenant Governor from 2018 to 2019 and as the first female President of the Minnesota Senate.
