Biography
Rick Holdcroft, born on January 8, 1954, in San Diego, California, is a Republican politician representing Nebraska's 36th Legislative District. He was elected to the Nebraska Legislature on November 8, 2022, becoming the first senator to serve District 36 after its relocation to Sarpy County following the 2021 redistricting. Holdcroft is a retired U.S. Navy officer with 28 years of service, including two assignments at U.S. Strategic Command. After his military career, he worked as an aerospace executive, establishing a field office for a leading company. He resides in Bellevue, Nebraska, with his wife, Mary Jo Heinen, and they have five children.
