Biography
Cindy Abrams is a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 29th District, which includes portions of western Hamilton County. She was appointed to the House in October 2019, succeeding Louis W. Blessing III, and has been re-elected in subsequent elections. Prior to her legislative service, Abrams served as a police officer for the City of Cincinnati and as a city councilwoman for the City of Harrison. She holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Public Leadership Academy at The Ohio State University.

She has also been active in community organizations, serving on the boards of the Hamilton County Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency, Hamilton County Municipal League, and SHELeads.
