Biography

Cliff Bentz, born on January 12, 1952, in Salem, Oregon, is a third-generation Oregonian who was raised on his family's cattle ranches in Harney County. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Oregon's 2nd congressional district, a position he has held since January 3, 2021. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Bentz had an extensive career in Oregon's state legislature, serving in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. He is a member of the Republican Party and has been actively involved in various legislative committees and community organizations throughout his career.
