Biography

Jim Jordan, born on February 17, 1964, in Troy, Ohio, is a Republican politician representing Ohio's 4th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2007. Raised in Champaign County, Ohio, he was a standout wrestler at Graham High School, achieving a 156–1 record and winning state championships all four years. Jordan's political career is marked by his staunch conservative stance and active involvement in the House Freedom Caucus, which he co-founded in 2015 and served as its first chairman.

Education and Political Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he was a two-time NCAA Division I wrestling champion.
