Biography
Kurt Vail, born on August 4, 1968, is a Republican politician serving as the State Representative for Connecticut's 52nd District, which includes Somers, Stafford, Union, and Woodstock. First elected in 2014, he has been re-elected multiple times, most recently in November 2024. Vail has been actively involved in his community, serving on the Stafford Board of Education, the Downtown Revitalization Committee, and the Recreation Commission. He has also been a dedicated youth sports coach and mentor, including serving as president of the Stafford Youth Football board from 2007 to 2009.
