Biography
Rudolph L. Veit, born on August 16, 1953, in Jefferson City, Missouri, is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 59, which includes parts of Cole and Miller counties. Elected in November 2018, Veit has been serving since 2019. In addition to his legislative duties, he practices law at Carson & Coil Law Firm in Jefferson City. Veit is actively involved in his community, attending Saint Stanislaus Church and participating in organizations such as the Wardsville Lions Club, Jefferson City Park Foundation, Missouri Farm Bureau, Cattlemen's Association, Missouri Bar Association, Cole County Bar Association, Cole County Republicans, Lincoln University Blue Tigers Club, and the St. Thomas Knights of Columbus. He has also contributed to the Jeff City Parks and Recreation Commission, Special Olympics Missouri, and the American Heart Association. Veit resides in Wardsville with his wife, Jeri; they have four children and six grandchildren.
