Biography

Tim Burchett, born on August 25, 1964, in Knoxville, Tennessee, is a Republican politician representing Tennessee's 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2019. He resides in the Gibbs Community of Knox County with his wife, Kelly, and their daughter, Isabel.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

  • Tennessee House of Representatives: Served from 1995 to 1998.
  • Tennessee State Senate: Served from 1999 to 2010.
